“The graceful guardian faces the playful muse — two contrasting spirits, each completing the other.”

This pair of asymmetrical drop earrings brings two familiar characters from the same universe into a single composition.

Set against deep black vitreous enamel, Angelo appears with soft blue and white feathered wings, while Devolo carries warmer amber and silver tones. Both have serene, closed-eyed expressions, creating a quiet connection between them.

Each character carries a touch of the other: a warm citrine above Angelo echoes Devolo's wings, while a London blue topaz above Devolo reflects Angelo's.

Handcrafted in sterling and fine silver using traditional cloisonné enamelling techniques, these asymmetrical earrings are entirely handmade and one of a kind.

About Vitreous Enamel

Vitreous enamel is the ancient art of fusing powdered glass onto metal at high heat, creating long-lasting luminous surfaces. Each firing transforms fragile grains of glass into a smooth, jewel-like layer, rich with depth and color. In cloisonné enamelling, fine metal wires are carefully shaped and arranged to create individual compartments, which are then filled with coloured enamel and fired in a kiln. This intricate technique allows detailed compositions to be built directly onto the metal surface. Practiced for thousands of years across Byzantine icons, Ottoman jewelry, and Art Nouveau masterpieces, enamel brings a painter’s palette to metalwork — every shade alive with light.

About Citrine

Known as the Merchant’s Stone, citrine has long been associated with prosperity, joy and abundance. Its warm golden colour and traditional symbolism have made it a gemstone of optimism, confidence and positive beginnings.

About London Blue Topaz

London blue topaz is distinguished by its deep, inky blue colour, often with subtle grey or teal undertones. Traditionally associated with clarity, calmness and confidence, its rich, understated colour evokes the depth of the ocean and the stillness of twilight.
